History: Following the sale of All Wire Machinery Inc, the owner, Ulf Svensson, started Unicode Inc in 1989 for the purpose of selling complete manufacturing plants to the steel processing industry in South East Asia, capitalising on the local shortage of application engineering expertise in that area and the surplus of eningeering expertise and talent in Canada at that time.

  • relocation of M.I.G. Welding Wire Facility from Keycon Industries in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Electromanufacturas A/S in Bogota, Colombia
  • UNICODE has developed a new type of hydraulic press called "the Unicode Tool Actuator" used in automated production systems for deep forming of sheet metal parts.
